You belong here.

Home is belonging.

Are you ready to call Minto home?

Whatโ€™s it like to live belong here?

In most small towns, you can expect to enjoy the slower side of life.

But in Minto, we hustle hard to create communities where everyone feels like theyโ€™re home.

WE THINK YOU SHOULD TOTALLY MOVE HERE.

live in the middle of everywhere

The Town of Minto is located in the north-western boundary of Wellington County, and is composed of the former Towns of Harriston and Palmerston, the former Village of Clifford, and surrounding rural area of the former Minto Township.

When you move to Minto, youโ€™re only an hour from the major centres of southern Ontario โ€“ including Kitchener-Waterloo and Guelph โ€“ and popular recreational areas along the eastern shore of Lake Huron and southern Georgian Bay.

An hour from the city, and an hour to the beach. What more could you ask for?

    LOCALLY LOYAL

Minto didnโ€™t invent the idea of supporting local small businesses โ€“ but itโ€™s one of the unspoken and most fiercely demonstrated core values of our community.

    REVITALIZED DOWNTOWNS

The heart of every small town is its main street. Thatโ€™s why weโ€™ve rebuilt all three Minto main streets from the ground up with infrastructure improvements and placemaking additions like outdoor furniture, public art, landscaping and lighting.
